Mr. Collins is Senior Vice President of Business Development and Operations at Motus Energy LLC. Previously, he was Director of Business Development at Howard Energy Partners, LLC, a San Antonio, Texas-based oil & gas midstream company where he was responsible for developing new business opportunities to optimize existing midstream assets located in the Eagle Ford and Gulf Coast regions. 

Prior to Howard Energy, Mr. Collins served as Director of Power Origination at NextEra Energy where he was responsible for originating structured transactions with utilities and independent power producers to provide hedges for physical length, as well as marketing PPAs for company-owned generation assets, retail power supply contracts, and development of renewable projects.

Mr. Collins’ career as an energy professional includes over 30 years of cross-commodity experience within multiple energy sectors, serving in various roles including: petroleum terminal management, logistics, trading & wholesale marketing, and commercial development. 

Mr. Collins has an M.B.A. from the University of Houston and a B.B.A. from Texas Christian University in Business Marketing.
