Mr. Westmoreland is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Motus Energy LLC. Mr. Westmoreland leads all facets of financial operations and oversight alongside the other members of the executive team.

Mr. Westmoreland began his career in the midstream energy business in 2012 and has since worked in a variety of roles in financial planning & analysis, corporate development, greenfield project budget oversight, and project finance / private placement debt syndication & administration. He was an integral contributor at Howard Midstream Energy Partners, a San Antonio-based fully integrated midstream company whose average annual growth exceeded 45% during his time there. Prior to Howard Energy, he worked at various private equity and venture capital firms in the San Francisco Bay area. Mr. Westmoreland began his career at Deloitte as an auditor and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance consultant for public and private companies across an array of industries.

Within the community, Mr. Westmoreland serves as a Trustee of the St. Luke’s Episcopal School in Alamo Heights. He is also a proud member of the Texas Cavaliers, a charitable organization that strives to support local children through fundraising, and events such as the annual Texas Cavaliers River Parade.

Mr. Westmoreland holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and a Master of Accounting degree from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
