Mr. Castan is Senior Vice President – Operations & Commercial Development at Motus Energy LLC. He brings 20 years of midstream industry experience in bulk liquid terminals and pipelines to the Motus Energy commercial team, with expertise in multiproduct pipeline operations. 

Mr. Castan plays a key role in the concept, design, engineering, and operation of the terminals in Brownsville, Texas.

Prior to joining Motus Energy, Mr. Castan served as Vice President of Commercial for Howard Energy Partners where he helped develop the Corpus Christi Terminal to move refined products to Mexico. He also assisted with the design and engineering of two terminals in Mexico, one based in the Bajio region and the other in the north border area.

Previously, Mr. Castan was the Manager of Terminals and Pipeline Operations – North America for TransMontaigne Partners, LP, where he had operational responsibilities for terminals and pipelines located in the United States, Mexico, and other international pipeline systems. Mr. Castan began his career as an operations engineer for Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) and had operational responsibility within Northern Mexico. 

Mr. Castan holds Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering degrees.
